Last Fall, I had the pleasure of DJ'ing a boho beach wedding at Papaya Playa Project in Tulum, Mexico. It was an absolute blast in so many ways. The venue known for its Saturday house hedonism also makes for one heck of a wedding party. The decor was breathtaking, the weather couldn't have been better, and the guests' energy was immaculate. Not to mention, the music was on point.

The Creative Brief

The bride's vision was clear. She wanted an all ages open format party loaded with bops & bangers from every genre and decade to keep people on their toes. This creative brief is always a blessing as it allows me to dig deep into the crates from every phase of my life and find interesting ways to blend them together.

To top it off, they had hired drummers and dancers from @drumsinparadise to play over a portion of the set. For that, we went heavy tribal house and "that Tulum sound". I'd say more, but I know my words won't do it justice like the photos and videos below will.
